(Fachwerkhof Klosterbuch)

Under preservation order put, half-timbered buildings from 1840 and 1864, as well as an after historical model created barn, are presented within the half-timbered farm.
The farm is located in the town-centre of Klosterbuch and lies opposite the entrance to the former construction of the Zisterzienser Monastery.
The tow itself lies in the idyllic valley of the Freiberger Mulde.

Mr Jürgen Pohl and Ms Pohl-Roux, then still Ms Seyerle born Roux, acquired the farm in the autumn of 2001.

For a memorial-abiding step-by-step redevelopment of the farm and its use, Ms Seyerle and friends worked out a project, that was presented at the 29th of June in 2002, the day of Elsbeth Seyerle’s and Jürgen Pohl’s marriage.
The couple got to know each other in 2000, while the so called „Historischen Besiedlungszuge Sachsen” (historical settlers’ march Saxony).
The affinity between Saxony and Swabia proved to be very good – Ms Pohl-Roux found in Jürgen Pohl a man who she can connect common interests with: the love for horses and carriage tours after historical models, as well as the love for old buildings, in which men of several generations used to live.

Their marriage was a great stepping stone in their relationship, which happened to face a severe test only 6 weeks later.

The flood catastrophe in Saxony at the 12th/13th of August in 2002 also extended to the valley of the Freiberger Mulde.

Help and support by people and organisations from all over Germany produced new courage for a new start for all people of Klosterbuch.
„Risk equals Chance” – after this principle the town’s citizens and the family Pohl-Roux tackled the re-building. After a while besides taxing work the defiant attitude, we will succeed! , spread.

Helpers and donators had been invited to an affecting thank-you-party in May 2003, with a concert of the Thomanerchoir Leipzig as highlight.
The Thomaner planted a lime tree and a rose bush, first to symbolize the will to build up and second as a motivation to come again.

The whole year of 2003 until autumn 2004 the buildings the farm, were under construction. The regulations of the preservation order could be connected with modern technologies. A close co-operation with public memorial authorities, Mr Delang and Mr Liebig, wa established.

To extent the half-timbered buildings construction materials included much loam.
In the formation of the west gable, Lotos-glass of the firm Scholl Glas Lommatzsch was employed. The windows were built as wooden frame windows after historical models. The installation to generate ground warmth with surface collectors, was installed under the riding field.
All used materials and products are made in Saxony.

Experiences originating from the construction will be made accessible to interested visitors in an ecological centre on the farm.

The holiday flat in half-timbered house Nr 24 was firstly let to guests at Easter 2004.
The little country-style restaurant „Kutscherkanne”, which successfully took over its interim function, will now supply catering for events in the conference room.

Ms Pohl-Roux’s enterprise Telecommunications with its three employees and independent consultants moved to its new office in house 25 that at the same time is the family’s mansion.
Also here, Ms Pohl-Roux meets her self-set aim: her employees are handicapped citizens.

The family’s and the employees’ aim to make the farm a place of tradition and closeness, is lived every day.
